PH levels and Ppm reading

I have two rainwater tanks I can use for supplying water for hydro. One tank is fed from a roof which has a tree overhanging the roof and gets some debris in the gutters including animal droppings which I believe has caused a high PH reading of 8. My other rainwater tank is fed from a roof which is clear from any trees or debris and has a PH reading of 5. I was using the water from the high PH tank and my Ppm reading for nutrients was around 350ppm. I have changed to using the lower PH tank water and my Ppm nutrients reading has gone up to 700ppm. Is this too high?
