Diy hydroponic tower learner

I built this tower set up and it is my first effort. I also made myself some net pots from plastic bottles using a soldering iron. I live in Australia and at present putting up with temperatures of 100deg f.+
I am also trying to germinate some seeds but temperatures have given me a few problems. I have a 800lpd pump which I regulate with a tap. I have only just finished building this and think I will now have to make up a shade house to protect the plants once I have planted them in the tower
