Hydroponic foggy roots

I have a hydroponic setup for tomato the roots were earlier white but now it is like shown in pic, what could be the problem?

That looks like algae. I get that in my garden pond. It shouldn't hurt them. If that is what it is, it means you have an abundance of nutrients in the water. How is the plant doing. Other than the way the roots look, are there any signs of problems with the plant above the roots? If you don't like it, you can get an ultra violet unit and place it inline. That will kill the excess algae by breaking down it's cell walls, but I really don't think you need it.
