Hi and welcome to the Forum! Especially for those of us who don't do hydro, it would be nice if you would explain a little what is going on. Your plants look like they are in soil. How is this hydro?

The bottom two pictures look like pretty healthy little seedlings. The picture in blue is a pathetic plant that has been starved for sunlight for a long time. Similarly the picture right above it. The rest of the pictures are kind of jumbled up, hard for my eye to sort out, not really knowing what I am looking at. But I will say I noticed in the top picture that the little tomato plants seem to be at the very edges of the little pots they are in, instead of in the center. What is the reason for that?

Yeah I was wondering if you are trying to clone those in the first photos -- they look a little wimpy but with better light, should grow better once roots are established.

I noticed you are using those root-pruning grow pots. They come as sheets that are rolled into cylinders around the bottom disk piece and secured with the (blue and other colored) buttons, right? I recently came across them in a UK blog and looked for US sources but they are (still?) pretty pricy unless purchased in large bulk units. Have you been using them long? What are your impressions of them?

Noted in the middle photo -- be sure to trim the dead and dying leaves -- I would think especially in a humid hydro set up they can become breeding ground for fungal issues.

Hope to see your progress updates as they grow. :-()

The air pot works great. The only problem is they require lots of watering.

That is a one gallon planted with Coco Coir and Growstone super soil aerator. I use plant inoculants to boost root growth.
