help with sealing pots
my pot I am using as a reservoir is leaking water out the bottom. I have tried lining it with plastic/plastic bags but the water is still seeping through. anyone have a quick at-home fix?
What kind of pot is it? If it is leaking from a drain hole you can just get a cork to fit and use an aqarium sealant around the cork to fill in the gaps. You can use a sealer inside the pot to waterproof it. If this is an ornamental pot then thompsons water seal or O'Henry's roof sealer will work. If is a cache pot for an edible plant. I would use a glazed pot without a drainhole for the reservoir.
Otherwise, I would look for a cache pot. They are easy to find. In fact, I have a hard time findiing pots with drain holes these days and I have to put them in myself.
