plant from earth medium to hydroponics?

Hello

I have a question.
I wonder if you can buy a normal plant in earth medium from a store and place it in a hydroponics system.
ofc you would wash all the earth away and place it in a more suitable medium.

You can wash off the media, you have to in hydro, but it needs to be put into a net pot. Water roots are not the same as air roots so some of the air roots will need to be above the water table.

It would be better if you planted your seeds in oasis cubes instead so they form the right kind of roots from the start.

I agree with imafan26 - it is better to start in a full hydro environment. When dirt is introduced, it can go funky with the rich nutrient supply... I use rock wool...
