led lighting vs conventional hydro lighting

Hi. I'm new here. So excuse me if this has been discussed before. I'm looking to upgrade my current system from sodium halide bulbs. Was wondering if anyone else has tested these new LED lighting systems that are currently available at most shops. I want to find out if they are suitable for a small scale bussiness growing veg. Just trying to bring down my overheads but at same time trying to increase yield

Good LEDs are pricey but the cost of running them is supposedly cheaper. And what size area are you working in?
