Hydroponics Hops

Anyone have any experience with growing hops through hydroponics? Local craft brewers are trying to buy all ingredients locally as well as some of the food in their tap rooms (if they serve food).

Speed and efficiency would definitely add considerable inventory as well as providing more strains.

Thanks in advance!

But don't hop vines grow really long? Growing instructions I've seen include securing climbing wires to the roof the barn.... :?:

Indeed (growing height).

Very well suited to a tall wall as well.

I am thinking an NFT system to insure continuous nutrition flow. Buckets may be too time intensive. Ebb and flow maybe with a partially buried reservoir to help keep the nutes cool.

Still doing some research.....

Thanks for the input thus far folks.
