New pH and TDS testers question.

I recently ordered and received a Milwaukee pH600 and an HM Digital TDS-3 TDS meter. They came with sachets of 7.01 buffer solution and 1382 ppm TDS solution. Also came with a plastic bottle of storage solution for pH and ORP electrodes.

Now to the questions:
1. Are the sachets a one time use kind of thing or can I fold them over and store them for future uses?

2. On the storage solution for pH am I supposed to pour some in a cup and just keep the meter submerged in it at all times? Or do I just dunk the meter in it then put the cap back on and call it a day?

Thanks in advance.

the sachets are a one time use but I guess you could store them never tried it. I all ways pour the contents into a shot glass and use both solutions to calibrate. Most times I've one this with a 4.01 and a 10.01 solutions. Yours comes with a 7.01 so use it. Important thing for me is to keep the ph probe stroed wet. Personally I buy a bottle of storage solution that is of a known Ph, typically 7.01. I turn my tester on with the cap on it which contains a small amount of storage solution. I know instantly if my tester has maintained its calibration. Be sure to rinse off the probe after testing or a build up can occur.

Put a small amount in the cap of your tester and store it in an upright position. again, keep the probe wet at all times has been the best advice I was given.

Thanks in advance.
