Again this year I will be using drip ring systems to grow Giant Marconi peppers. A simple air pump is used to force the nutrients from the reservoir up through a tube into a perforated tube that surrounds the plants. The pump runs one hour on with a two hour rest cycle. The nutrients drain through the clay pellets and drain back into the reservoir to be recycled. These are simple reliable systems, and can easily be built using a five gallon bucket. I used these last season, and they did a fantastic job growing peppers!

Water Farms are awesome, I currently only have a Banana tree in one and run the pump 24/7 but have used them for other things in the past.

do you hand polanate the pepers?

Yes, I simply tap them occasionally to pollinate them.

Very nice set up! I also make my own hydroponic set ups out of 5 gallon buckets. You should also try big plastic tubs, cut holes in the lid for the pots to hang and run lines from your water pump, the tub is the reservoir. It works great.
