Outdoor water fountain-water treatment

Hi guys. I just added an outdoor water fountain to my deck. It's small, holding maybe 5 gallons of water. Is there anything I can add to the water to keep it fresh and mosquito and algae free? The deck is covered so it's out of the rain and other elements.

Thanks, Robin

Mosquito won't breed in moving water. So you should be ok on that score, though you can use mosquito Bt -- mosquito dunks -- if you want to be absolutely sure.
