Re: Water garden and red eared sliders

Do you live where these turtles are native or indigenous?

If environmentally suitable, I suppose an outdoor enclosure like the one they have at my local wildlife refuge for box turtles might work....

I have a 100 gallon outdoor water garden with native plants and 5 Koi. Over the years we have placed many native turtles in there that we have come across (in the road, golf course, etc.) but they never stayed. I have several frogs that make it their home though.
