We too are with frog..... :)

We moved in to our current home a year ago February. The *pond* that was already in place in the backyard was actually a *swamp* which had been seriously neglected for a very long time.

We drained it, cleaned it out (which was revolting) refilled it, replaced the plants that were already in there, hooked up the clarifier and pump that were already here and refilled it.

Later, we got some fish. One night, two tiny little frogs appeared out of no where and made a ruckus back there for several nights and then were gone as fast as they arrived. Then another day, we noticed another frog that would jump in and out of the water during the day. He was a tiny little guy then. Lived there all summer and then we did not see him all winter.

Lo and behold, this spring....there he was. Obviously spent the winter in there and is back to sunning himself on the rocks and lily pads. Only now....he is huge!

We don't see any others in there and this guy is quiet. We never hear him out there. Seems to be a happy little bachelor. :D
