Alright, you tease! Can we see the WHOLE pond?

But seriously, your photos evoke such a sense of peace and tranquility. :D

I just saw those pink and green rocks at a local garden center and was wondering HOW to use them because they looked so pretty. I like the way you have them -- accent pieces.

 I'll see what I can do. I was actually sitting on the front porch taking pictures of the birds, while the pond was under construction. That's why I just have pics of bits and pieces.

These days, it's usually pouring rain outside, and I'm not sure I'll be able to get any pics of the whole pond. I do have one, but it isn't very good, because some of the background elements aren't desirable, like a downspout. Even at my best, I definitely rank high among the world's worst photographers.

I hope you have better luck damming your brook than a friend of mine did. She built the little dam and created a lovely small pond, even bought a pair of ducks. She didn't stop the flow of the creek. But suddenly the Watermaster swooped down and made her tear it all out. Apparently, somebody down creek from her owned the water rights, saw what she had done, and filed an official complaint. :(

I didn't even know Oregon had such a person as a Watermaster, or that an individual could own the rights to all the water in a creek. It certainly was a surprise and an education for me!
