Kindly help me identify my new bonsai tree?

Hello everyone! Brand-new to this forum and as an owner of a bonsai tree that I received as a gift. I want to make sure this thrives and grows and is healthy. I would like to identify what type of bonsai tree it is so I can get more details on proper care, Pruning, etc. it's currently indoors, I live in Chicago, and even wondered if it something I can keep outdoors year round. I'm hoping my photos come across ok. I'm truly appreciative of this forum and the assistance. I plan on being a regular attendee, because I want this tree to thrive. Big thanks...

Warm regards,
Scott

It is a ginseng-rooted ficus (fig). It belongs outdoors May to October. Its home range is the tropics. It is not hearty in northern Illinois.

Yes - while it will enjoy the outdoors during completely frost-free Spring/Summer weather, it needs to come indoors to a relatively bright window site for the Fall/Winter months.

Thank you very much! Mr. Tree will now move outside. However I will bring it in come October. Sincerely appreciated...
