beginner bonsai, asking for help.

I was wondering if anyone could help identify my bonsai, I'm working on preventing the growth of mold on my top soil. any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Looks like a ficus. To prevent mold, I would remove those rocks, and water only when dry. Use the "chopstick" method for watering.

alright thank you, is anyone familiar with removing the rocks?
because they really glue them on there and I don't want to damage the lil guy.

You may need to use a tool, like a butter knife, or a screwdriver to remove the rocks. Just chip away at them, and remove them, but be careful not to injure yourself. That's how I remove them, and hope that helps.
