leaves turning yellow

hi.....
I really need help I have an elm bonsai tree which I recentally bought it was in reaal good shape when I bought it but now its leaves are turning yellow and falling and I'm really worried.I think it might be cause the poor light because I keep it indors and my window is facing north....the weather is cold and rainy nowdays so I don't get enough sunlight during the day.
is there anything I can do????? :cry: please help me out

It would do much better outside, and they can handle cold weather. North facing windows are not good for any plant, or especially tree. My indoor tropicals get 14 hours of flourecsent light and that seems to be ok for them. but they are tropicals.

And the search option on this forum is a great tool, you can find a lot of info on your tree, and how it would probably do better outside

Without proper identification of the tree, any advice is merely conjecture.
