grapfruit bonsai?

hi well I have a little grapefruit sapling (its about about 9 inches tall) and I wanted to know if it would make a good bonsai, I also wanted to know that if I did make it bonsai if I would half to let it go dormant because its tropical? thanks

I know that citrus do make good bonsai, but I also believe that grapefruits are subtropical, and require cooler winter weather. Having said that, if you can keep it close to a window in the winter, that might cut it.
