New Schefflera

Hello:

Recently, I purchased a Schefflera bonsai from a store. I removed the stones from the top and am wondering if it would benefit from being put outside during the summer. It is usually about 15-20 degrees outside where I live, and I have the option of putting the plant in full sun, shade, or partial shade. I realize that it is classified as an indoor plant, however my place of residence in the summer has a dehumidifier, which after doing some basic research, would seem to damage the plant. Suggestions?

Scheffs are pretty tolerant of indoor conditions, they're known as the Indestructable Bonsai for a reason. If you can put a humidity tray underneath it, that would probably help it, but it should do fine without.

If you put it outside, I would start it in shade or partial shade.
