Aerial roots and Humidity bagging

I've been checking out some way to encourage aerial roots and I'm curious if bagging a tree is a workable solution. I have two variations in the pic - one has a small tree, just repoted, with a full bag covering it to increase humidity and encourage that aerial rooting. The other has just the base wrapped to accomplish the same thing.

My question is, will the fully covered tree suffer from any serious lack-of-light issues, being covered or will the amount of light that passes be sufficient over the course of the next week or two while the roots form.

ManIK, I have an identical setup for a ficus cutting I took a few months back. Once it decided it had enough roots and started working on leaves it has been growing like crazy. Just make sure you take the bag off daily and flatten it, then reinflate it. This will help keep mold and mildew down and give it better air circulation. Sometimes I mix a little bit of root hormone which contains a fungicide in a spray bottle and treat it for about a week to keep mildew down. A ficus should be ok in a plastic baggy as long as it is under decently bright light source.
