Newb To Bonsai

ok so I have the Terrarium Bonsai set up goin on it's more of an experement and it's accualy showing nice results anyways then I've got my ficus in a pot and I don't have any idea how to take care of it the one in the Terrarium I've been takeing care of it like any other plant in the tank before it and it's grown a bit since I've gotten it, the other not so much so some one please help..... :!: :!: :!:

What exactly do you want to know? Why is the one in the terrarium showing better results than the other? Perhaps it is due to the increased levels of humidity and warmth. Or maybe the roots have more rooms to spread.

OK, if I understand correctly these are two different species being handled under two entirely different circumstances. Add to that the fact that they were not necessarily at the same level of health/development to begin with and It's not surprising that they are not responding in an identical fashion.

If you are concerned about the potted one perhaps you can place it, pot and all, inside the terrarium temporarily and see if that helps it to catch up.

BTW, the first one you show looks like a Ginseng Ficus or F. microcarpa (also known as F. retusa)
