Indoor Ficus Dropping Green Leaves

I have owned this ficus for about a year now. In the last month or so, it's been dropping at least 2 green leaves a day. I keep it relatively dry but did take it outside two days ago and drenched it. That didn't seem to help. I would attach pictures of the plant as well as the windows that it's sitting about 6 feet away from if someone could tell me how. Thank you for your help!

I would say this problem is a result of salt buildup in the soil. Try to change the soil. Other than that, it is difficult to say what is wrong. Have you changed the way you water it recently?

I haven't really changed the way I water it except for giving it more water this week, but it's been dropping lots of leaves for over a month now. I do put coffee grounds in the soil about once a month or every other month. Thanks for your advice. I'll try changing out the soil.

That's not good.
