Hey all (again),
Just woundering if I could get some views on my Sagarethia bonsai, I've had it about 2 months now and I was just woundering that it looks healthy and an estimation of the age.

Sam,
I see some fresh growth so I don't think it is in any immediate distress but, as with your other tree, I really don't like the looks of the medium it is potted in. Unfortunately this is typical of mass produced bonsai.
What is the situation regarding lighting for this and the Fukien Tea? You may need to provide some supplemental lighting if you intend to grow these indoors as you will be forced to over the winter at least. I prefer to get everything outside as soon as the weather warms enough. I do keep Ficus and Jades and have recently begun with a Schefflera as well.
Age is not really the issue most newcomers believe, more important is the perceived age. Bonsai is, to some extent, an illusion, an art form intended to give the impression of age.
