Its sun it needs. Rain should not hurt it.

You didn't say where you are. If you are in cold winter country, your fukien tea needs to be indoors. In the growing season it should be outdoors.

Don't water it every day. Submerge it when the soil has dried out on top. Mist it in between. If you are keeping indoors, keep it on a humidity tray on a south facing windowsill. Even in winter, it does need light. If you want a bonsai to ornament your fireplace mantel, get a fake one. What you have is a living tree and needs to be treated like one.

also I will put my tree on the windowsil to get more sun

is there anything I need to feed my tree (apart from watering it), advice on this would be great?

Yes since bonsai soil is not organic and has very little nutrients in it, and the tree is in a very small amount of soil, you will need to fertilize regularly. Any general purpose liquid fertilizer will do. Dilute it to half the strength suggested on the bottle and apply after you have watered, at least every month, maybe every other week in the growing season.

yup, natural, they bud, they bloom, they die.... Nothing lives forever, especially not little flower blossoms, sort of the definition of transient, ephemeral, evanescent....
