This is my fourth year with a thriving garden, my yard is fenced but the deer have finally found my beets...my question is they didn't eat right down to the beet, just the green part. If I leave the beets in the ground will they continue to grow or should I pull them up and eat or pickle what is there?
Input ASAP would be great.
Thankyou

Hi Canuck
I would leave them, but keep my eye on them. They might pop up a new leaf, and the roots might continue to do thier job. Either way you will learn something.
Myself and some other folks talked a bit about deer in:

Hah! Peak oil? Try Peak water, and Peak Land at the same time. Overgrazed is more like it.
