re melons that are pumpkins

one of them is now bright orange so is it ready for picking?

I've always waited until after a frost that was hard enough to make the vine go limp. Don't leave them out after that, though, because another frost might damage the pumpkins and make them mushy.

they are in the greenhouse and we don't get frosts until november/december in south uk
