Pepper Plant Blooms?

I have pepper plants in my garden that are about 2 feet tall now and they have a ton of blooms but not fruit. Is it normal that the plants would get a bunch of blooms before producing fruit?

Thanks,

Mike

It's normal, yup. You will likely see a few baby peppers soon.

Cool... I got a feeling I am going to end up with a junk load of tomatoes and peppers all at the same time!

thanks

Ah, sweet harvest! Peppers freeze wonderfully well. Just wash and prepare as you usually use them ( like spears or diced) and freeze in zip baggies. They should keep for at least 6 months or longer... Tomatoes can be frozen as well, but don't keep as long. Most people freeze prepared tomatoes, like diced and cooked, or pasta sauce.

Good to know. I have never really tried my hand at freezing but think I might do it more often. I want to start making my own chicken stock and last time I didn't get to use it and it spoiled so I will freeze it next time.

Thanks for the tip.
