My Garden Update! *Added stakes, cages and cuke trellis*

Here are some pictures of my garden. I posted pictures of my seedlings about a month ago and I planted all these plants on June 14th.

Enjoy...

My Black Prince Tomato. I planted this just this weekend and not sure if it will have enough time to develop but we will see.

This is my first garden and I have learned a lot. I just started pruning the suckers on my tomatoes because I just found out that I should. I had a little problem with 1 rabbit and come caterpillars but I took care of that. So far so good. The cukes have a ton of flowers, the peppers just started to flower and the tomatoes all have started flowering.

Thanks for all the advice.

Looking good. Do you have any bird feeders and baths nearby? Might help keep down some of the insects if it starts to become a problem.

That's a lovely garden going. Any blossoms on the tomatoes yet?

No I don't. I don't have much of anything else as far as landscaping goes. I assume that by adding a bath or feeder it will bring birds which eat bugs?

Most of the wildlife around you will appreciate having some water. There are even some wasps that are beneficial predators. Years ago, I would not believe that I'd see as many wasps and bees as I currently do in my yard without getting stung, but I frequently see them at the birdbaths in my yard.

The birds are much more likely to help with bug patrol if there is water nearby. Especially when they have young ones in tow.

Thanks for the tips.

I might have to get something like that. I actually have a tree to the right of my house that always has a ton of birds in it. (My car can vouch for that!)

My other neighbors have a bird feeder in the front yard and some things in the back so there are plenty around. Now I guess I just need to coach them in! lol

Thanks again.

Looking good!
I wish I had some fencing like yours. I lost most of my broccolli and lettuce to critters. We have bunnies, woodchucks, squirrels, etc. I have some pics posted under tomatoes and vegetable questions also.

Your hard work is evident. Looks very nice.

You're going to be eating your own produce soon.

Where do you live?

I have mixed feelings about the birds. They may eat the bugs but they also eat my tomatos. I hopt some netting will stop that.
