when to lime dust

can I lime dust all veges & frute trees & what time of day ??

I don't think what time of day really matters.

Certain plants won't like lime on or around them. Lime raises the pH, which lowers acidity. Some plants prefer high acid soil & I wouldn't put lime anywhere near them. For example, blueberry bushes.
