What is eating my bush beans and marigolds?

Hello! I am new here. I found this site while googling what might be eating my marigolds...and now my bush beans. I don't know if the predator is the same as they are planted a good 20 feet away from each other with many other plants separating them.
Any ideas as to what it might be and how to make it stop?! Thanks!!

I had a rabbit devouring my marigolds. I sprinkled them with cayenne pepper and that seemed to do the trick.
My bush beans are protected by netting until I can get a fence constructed around them to keep the bunnies out.

I originally thought the bunnies were eating the marigolds, but I put bloodmeal around them and the marigolds are still disappearing!
And as for the bush beans, they are in a container about 18" off the ground.. :?

Try a little fence that goes right to the ground to keep whatever it is out. if you have deer, you'll need a 6 to 8 foot tall fence.
