Thinning carrots and green onions

I have carrot seedlings in a deep container, about 1-1/2" tall. I also have green onions in the raised bed that are about 1" tall. When should I begin thinning these and how much should I keep them spaced?

Well, once they are up and start to crowd eachother out you can start thinning them.

You don't want to wait to long or the roots can get tangled and make them more diffiicult to pull out.

Have fun!

Spacing for the varities you have should be listed on the seed packets. For carrots and green onions around 3" spacing would be typical.
