potato blossoms

do I have a problem??
something, possibly birds, are eating blossoms off my potato plants. will this affect tuber growth.

Potatoes are better off without the blossoms taking up nutrients that could be stored in the tubers. Some have ability to make flowers/fruits/seeds bled out of them, some will bloom but have difficulties setting fruit (this might be what you are seeing — blossom drop due to inability, or environmental factors ...do you see dried up flowers anywhere?).
