finding the proper nutrient ratios is doin me head in.
Where can I find the nutrient ratios for hydroponics? Like, the optimal for all the plants. I've asked around for a few months to no avail. There was that thing harvard did for tomatoes but thats it.
Different plants will need different amounts of nutrients. It depends on the crop you are growing. Lettuce is the easiest, but tomatoes will need different solutions depending on their stage of growth. You will need an ec meter and a digital scale if you want to custom mix the chemicals. You can get most chemicals and advice from your local hydroponic store.
