What disease/bug causes this?

So today I noticed my Sugar Baby watermelon plant has a condition where the leaves are wilting and dying starting closest to the base of the plant and steadily going up the plant. The plant itself continues to grow but as it grows, the dying leaves are going up the vine I guess eventually it will consume the vine. On top of this, the 2 little watermelons that I had on it (that I hand pollinated) shriveled up and died :(

I'm sure you experts you what causes this. Please advise!

Thank you!

How old is the plant? Sugar baby matures in 60 to 90 days. It usually produces a lot of flowers but only 1 or 2 melons can fully ripen on the short 6 foot vines. After the melon sets and starts to grow, I usually see some of the oldest leaves start to dry up. When the tendril closest to the watermelon starts to dry, and the bottom of the watermelon is yellow, it is time to pick. Mine only get to the size of a small bowling ball. The rind is thin and the fruit is sweet. I does take daily watering in a pot.
