Gypsy Hybrid Broccoli - why is it yellow???

I have always planted Coronado Crown Broccoli and loved it, but couldn't find the seeds anywhere this year. So I tried two other types.

I planted Bonanza Hybrid Broccoli first, which is doing okay I guess....I probably won't grow it again, but that's besides the point.

Two weeks later I planted Gypsy Hybrid Broccoli. Right on schedule, the heads are starting to form, but they are yellow??? It is not supposed to be yellow. I thought maybe that's how this type started and then turned green later, but I have found other people growing it, and it's green. I have 8 plants and they are all like this. And they are right in front of the Bonanza....in the same soil/same area/same sunlight/same water, etc. and Bonanza is normal.

Has anyone had this problem? Is it normal? Is it this type? Any suggestions? Help, please!

Here is one of the plants as the head started to form:

Here is the same head, 4 days later and a couple of inches bigger:

Interesting. I can only say, take it in and eat it. See how it tastes. Then perhaps next year buy your seeds from a different supplier.
