Is it safe to get liquid fish fertilizer on ripening fruits?

I wanted to know if it has an effect on the taste or the safety of my vegetables if I get fish emulsion on the fruits themselves

"fish emulsion " is a fertilizer, put it on the soil not the fruit. You will wash your fruit before eating right? I would not worry about it.

I have the Alaska brand that’s meant to be used as a foliar spray. I was probably incorrect in calling it “fish emulsion.”
