One branch wilting on otherwise healthy tomato plant

I have six healthy tomato plants, or so I thought. I've noticed in the last couple days one or two branches have wilted on a couple of the plants. In NW Arkansas. We do have black walnut trees around us. I had read somewhere this could be the culprit. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

No, the whole juglone/black walnut thing is over rated. Not likely the culprit.

A picture or two would help.

How big are the plants? I don’t remember them specifically on tomatoes, but in my garden I have problems with buffalo and brown treehoppers. They gouge/suck on leaf vein from the underside and sometimes sever the vein enough to break them, causing the leaf (or “branch” on a tomato as some people call it) to hang limp.

They do this to sunflower leaves all the time. Eggplants, too. I’ve seen them on artichoke leaves, tomatillo and pepper leaves so far this year.

They are often accompanied by ants feeding on their nectar secretions.
