Can I move my small chilli and tomato plants in greenhouse?

Hi guys

I was wondering whether it will be Ok Safe to move my small chilli and tomatoe plants in greenhouse. I'm in Yorkshire in England , temp is 8-12 for next few days daytime and a whopping ( not ) 4 night temperature for next few days.

Sick of this poor weather!

Thanks

I’m not really looking at the temperatures, but just as a general rule, I would hold back the peppers and wait a week or 2 weeks sometimes after tomatoes go out — baby peppers generally need air temp that is 5°F warmer, and pepper roots need warmth to grow. Sometimes, the plants will not be harmed but will not grow until warmer.

So I NEVER think of putting peppers out at the same time as tomatoes unless the peppers are getting extra protection and extra consideration to be kept warmer.

I shall wait for another week or so, hopefully weather will improve by then.
