Hello, my name is Joachim and I just started growing my own vegetables, but I have plantet something that I thought was a cucumber, but it looks a bit strange.
Is there someone here who can help me?
Thank you

Pretty sure that's a cuke. If you have other squash or melon type plants around, it may have gotten pollinated with one of them instead of the cucumber boyfriend. This is normal enough for some cucumbers to look this way. If you have the seed packet, look the cultivar up on line and see if the coloration doesn't match.
Looks like a cucumber to me .
You should be a little more sure if you slice into it.
There are a number of cucumber varieties that you won't see in the supermarket. I don't suppose that the pickling type shows up there. Some garden varieties are more multipurpose, for both pickling and slicing. Some are heirlooms that have no place in the modern "food industry."
