Fill in vacant areas in carrot bed

My dog ran through my carrot patch a number of times chasing foxes. There are many bare areas 8"x8" to 12"x12". Can anyone suggest something I can plant in the vacant spots? (townie gardener wanting to use all my space) or can I reseed with carrots?

You could reseed with carrots or with companions lettuce, onions, peas, tomato ( carrots will be pulled before the tomato gets too big), or radiishes. A fence would help too to keep the critters from running through the patch.

I usually follow most of the spring stuff with beans - green beans, soy beans, etc etc....

Radish seed would work. Also if you have some small dry onions you could plant some onions there.
