Can you identify my mystery plant?

I believe it's a spice because of its smell but maybe it's just a "weed"

Thank you for your help!

I believe it is some variety of artemisia, like mugwort or wormwood. Artemisia is potently aromatic. It is a larval host for several butterflies. Wormwood is the flavoring in absinthe and was originally the flavoring in vermouth (the name vermouth comes from the German for wormwood).

Thank you! Well, I'll leave it for the butterflies if I have enough room, otherwise this poor plant will be pulled.

The flowers when it blooms are not especially pretty.

But due to its silvery foliage color, it is often used ornamentally to contrast with darker leaved plants.
