Spaghetti Squash who has grown this?

Alice cooked a spaghetti squash for dinner this is the best squash I have ever eaten. I am growing this in the garden next summer. Has anyone grown this? Is it a vine like butternut squash or a bush like zucchini? What is the growing time? Wow I have so much fun with my garden I can hardly wait.

Alice cut 1 squash in half and removed the seeds. Baked the 2 halves in the oven 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven pour Hot Ragu spaghetti sauce into each half, stir in some meat if you want, top with cheese, serve with garlic bread. The squash body is like a bowl, eat it right from the bowl. Wow this is good.

The spaghetti squash I grew was a vine. It takes about the same time as any winter squash around 90-100 days. Average yield is 4-5 squash per vine. It is a cucurbita pepo so it is the same family as pumpkin and winter squash.

Haven't grown it for several years but really enjoyed it. Next year this would be a good one.
