Help identifying squash

Hello I am new to this website but was hoping you might be able to help me. I recently moved into a townhouse and after a couple of months, noticed something growing in our back patio. I've attached pictures. It seems to be some kind of squash and was hoping you could help identify it. Also, is the yellow one ready to be harvested? Thanks so much!

Re: Help identifying squash

Could it be a Lemon Cucumber?

Squash and cucumbers often are left on the garden plot and tilled in. Next season the seeds may germinate. However it seems they are crosses and the fruit is not likely to be what it was last year. Some of these crosses can be quite tasty...... or not....... you just have to try it and see?
