If we have a late frost...

...I might just make a few fall tomatoes. Some time back I tested some of my saved tomato seeds for germination and ended up with some decent plants. I found a spot for them in the garden and they are looking good

Also, have some good collards, turnips and mustard coming along.

We had a frost first week of September that nipped things but did not totally kill the tomatoes, so I have been getting a few ripe tomatoes this late.

My late stuff and fall produce still coming along. Maybe I can at least have some good fresh fried green tomatoes and mustard greens

Well, two months after I started this thread we got the killing frost. Last two nights have dipped into the 20s and the tomato vines are toast. A good season and maybe these will carry us to Christmas. Last year, from the seed I started the very first sprout came on December 27
