Broken Pepper Plant

Went outside and one of my pepper plants was broken at the stem right where it goes into the dirt. It is broken completely in half. Is there a way to save this plant?

It will probably sprout new shoots. Can you post a photo of what is remaining?

Top can be rooted with some effort, but easier to get the bottom to grow.

I had a tomato do that 2 years past. Big Kid actually cut it with kitchen shears! I splinted it and taped it up with Teflon tape (cause that's all I had!). It grew a big ole knuckle where it was fused together, but it was just fine after that!

......but tomatoes are easier than peppers, and way more forgiving!

If there are nodes left it will resprout. I cut my peppers back to rejuvenate them. It takes a while though.
