broken stem

Can someone please help. My best pea plant just bent over. The stem is not broken but bent. Is there any way to fix this?. I would hate to see it die.

Kinipela, I'm pretty sure your pea will survive if you just tie the upper part up (assuming the plant is staked or climbing on strings) so that it's independently supported in a natural position. I seem to recall doing this myself in the past. Have definitely done it with a tomato, even using a wooden splint.

If the tip is not wilting, water and nutrients are still flowing through the stem. you can splint and support it.
