Forgot to turn on my lights!!!

Wife forgot to turn on the grow lights on our seedlings this morning. What will happen for a day without light? Really don't need to drive home, but will if need be. Lesson learned! Get a timer!

They may lean a bit towards any available light, but it should be OK.

Your seedlings will just think it's a really cloudy day. :)

This might be a good time to discuss getting timers for those lights.

Another vote for timers. I got a few on Christmas clearance a few years ago and hope to never be without a timer again. Set and forget. Although they can be a pain when you are working there and the light goes out.

The plants will be fine. Turn on the lights when you get home.
Timers? For me I just leave the lights on all the time.

I'm glad I don't have your electric bill. :) Some plants do need specific photoperiods of light and dark.

Oh, good grief, a 4 foot fluorescent with two tubes doesn't cost much to run. Ain't going to break the bank!

I set mine to coincide with daylight; about 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Gives me 16 hours of light.
