Looks like the birds are finding something to eat.
You could sell pictures of that landscape and buy all the winter veggies you need. Beautiful mountains!

That's a good idea, lakngulf! Where would you recommend selling the photos?

Brrrrrrrrrrr

I have blossoms on my tomato plants now. Snow is the last thing I want to see. :)

Lush and Green? Ya, right. remember its winter, so I feed the birds and look at seed catalogs.

I've seen so many posts by southerners bragging about how beautiful and productive their winter gardens are when mine looks like yours that I usually don't look at the pictures. We haven't got snow yet but our up and down temps aren't even good for kales and lettuces. A snow covered plot is a blank slate needing to be filled with those dreams induced by seed catalogs, aka garden EDITED by some of my co-workers.

Nice shot of the birds. Reminds me that I need to refill my feeders.

Yep, we are getting some more snow tonight. Coming down like crazy and starting to stack up.

So, I got down the seed box and went through and made a list of what seeds I have. OMIGOSH I have seed I haven't planted yet. ;) There are a few things I will need to stock up on, but I have enough seed to plant four times my space. :)

 Isn't that always the case? I have too many of some veg seeds and have completely run out of others -- or actually intentionally used up old seeds so I can restock with fresh

Man I can't wait for the "normal" temps to finally get down here in the SE. Yuck!

Well you could go skiing or fishing instead. You grow so much in your short season you must be pretty well stocked for winter for a while.

5 degrees F and clear skies. A foot of snow on the ground. The only thing growing is ice.

Just got some seed packets, that I had ordered, in the mail . Too early to plant. So I look at stuff on the internet and wish some seed catalogs would come...............

Happy New Year!
