radish,thin long seedling shoot?

I have planted radish seed a week before.next day all the seedlings shoot new leaves but now even after 5 days plant is still with same set of new leaves with long thin stem is keep growing...is that fine?.am new to gardening

If it has been in the ground just a few days it sounds like it is fine. The first true leaves should appear shortly.

tq lexus..it is in container..am in egypt..so we have peak summer here.and true leaves appeared the very next day.my plants are in balcony and hot sun will be there from 12 noon to 4 pm.plants are 3 inch tall with just first set of true leaves.
