Upstate New York,It's time to start gardening again..

Worked in the garden today, cleared off the asparagus bed but left a light covering of mulch, did the same with the garlic and boy does it look like it's happy.Tilled up the soil and tilled in the mulch.

Going to put in a few broccoli and cauliflower plants, Going to buy some cabbage as mine didn't take as seed.

The strawberries are even beginning to pop out of the ground, SPRING has sprung..

After the winter we had it"s amazing how fast things have changed..

Excited as always to begin another season..

Hi from across Lake Ontario. Wasn't that a long winter?! The snow finally melted here Easter weekend, I guess it was, and I raked away all the leaves and junk to find quite a few of my shade perennials poking their heads up - lamium, bearded lily, etc. I couldn't believe all that green stuff was alive under there, while I still had a small snowbank.

Just heading out to the garden to put in a few cool weather plants, going to rain this week so I think a pretty good time to put them in..
